Rosaviatsia restrictions on 11 September

Overnight and this morning Rosaviatsia imposed temporary flight restrictions at 19 airports. They currently remain in effect at 9 airports:

• Gelendzhik since 23:19 on 10 September (9 h 40 min)
• Cheboksary since 00:41 (8 h 18 min)
• Kazan since 01:54 (7 h 5 min)
• Kirov (Pobedilovo) since 01:54 (7 h 5 min)
• Ulyanovsk (Baratayevka) since 03:46 (6 h 13 min)
• Izhevsk since 03:49 (6 h 10 min)
• Samara (Kurumoch) since 04:09 (5 h 50 min)
• Perm (Bolshoye Savino) since 06:52 (4 h 7 min)
• Yekaterinburg (Koltsovo) since 10:37 (22 min)

Restrictions at 10 airports have already been lifted:

• Kaluga (Grabtsevo) from 17:17 on 10 September to 08:22 (15 h 4 min)
• Saratov (Gagarin) from 23:12 on 10 September to 09:09 (9 h 57 min)
• Penza from 22:12 on 10 September to 00:51 and from 01:24 to 08:09 (9 h 23 min)
• Nizhny Novgorod (Strigino) from 22:40 on 10 September to 06:33 (7 h 52 min)
• Sochi from 00:06 to 02:38 (2 h 32 min)
• Makhachkala (Uytash) from 04:31 to 06:55 (2 h 24 min)
• Orenburg from 00:46 to 02:11 (1 h 24 min)
• Volgograd (Gumrak) from 21:54 on 10 September to 23:10 on 10 September (1 h 15 min)
• Nizhnekamsk (Begishevo) from 22:46 on 10 September to 23:41 on 10 September (54 min)
• Bugulma from 22:46 on 10 September to 23:15 on 10 September (28 min)

According to Rosaviatsia, all restrictions were imposed to ensure flight safety. Times are in Moscow time, except where local time is specified for airports in other time zones.

Delays and cancellations on airport flight boards

According to airport flight boards, 903 flights are currently delayed at 24 airports, and 61 flights have been cancelled. Most delays are at Sheremetyevo (107), Pulkovo (98) and Vnukovo (94).

Sheremetyevo: 107 delays and 23 cancellations

At Sheremetyevo, 107 flights are delayed (37 departures and 70 arrivals), and 23 flights have been cancelled.

Departures

The 5N 9124 departure to Saint Petersburg has been moved from 09:30 to 09:46. Flights to Saratov, Mineralnye Vody, Kaliningrad, Murmansk, Ulyanovsk, Izhevsk and 2 other destinations are also delayed.

Departed late: SU 1244 to Orenburg (3 h 2 min behind schedule), SU 1568 to Tyumen (2 h 6 min behind schedule) and FV 6155 to Nizhnekamsk (6 h 23 min behind schedule).

The GF 12 arrival from Manama is now expected at 09:45 instead of 08:15. Flights from Saratov, Kazan, Astrakhan, Perm, Nizhnekamsk, Izhevsk and 11 other cities are also delayed.

Vnukovo: 94 delays and 8 cancellations

At Vnukovo, 94 flights are delayed (62 departures and 32 arrivals), and 8 flights have been cancelled.

The TK 3085 departure to Dalaman has been moved from 02:00 to 19:30, while A9 931 to Tbilisi is now due to leave at 10:30 instead of 06:00. DP 979 to Antalya has been pushed back to 10:25 (scheduled 07:00), while NE 609 to Hurghada will depart at 18:25 instead of 13:30. Flights to Istanbul, Sharm El Sheikh, Krasnodar, Gazipasa, Bodrum, Dushanbe and 10 other destinations are also delayed.

Departed late: J2 810 to Baku (3 h 31 min behind schedule), TK 422 to Istanbul (3 h 44 min behind schedule), NE 615 to Hurghada (2 h 46 min behind schedule) and NE 601 to Hurghada (3 h 2 min behind schedule).

At Kazan, 65 flights are delayed (33 departures and 32 arrivals), and 5 flights have been cancelled. Rosaviatsia restrictions were in effect here from 22:46 to 23:41 (54 min), were imposed again at 01:54 and have not been lifted yet.

The N4 1405 departure to Dushanbe has been moved from 01:35 to 13:40, while JU 189 to Belgrade is now due to leave at 21:00 instead of 02:10. FZ 984 to Dubai has been pushed back to 06:45 on 12 September (scheduled 05:20), while N4 250 to Saint Petersburg will depart at 22:00 instead of 09:05.
