Kaluga International Airport named after K. E. Tsiolkovsky is an international civil airport of federal significance located in the city of Kaluga.

Opened in 1970 as a civil airport, it ceased operations and was closed by 2001. It reopened after reconstruction in 2015. It was also used as a sports aerodrome by the Kaluga Aviation Flight Technical School of ROSTO. A Ka-26 helicopter unit of Gazpromavia is based near the airport.

It consists of two passenger terminals: Terminal A and Terminal B. It can accommodate aircraft such as Airbus A319, Airbus A320, ATR-42, Boeing 737-500/800, SAAB-2000, Sukhoi Superjet 100, Challenger-604, Challenger-300, Falcon-2000EX, Falcon-50, An-24, An-148-100A, An-26, An-74 and all lighter types, as well as helicopters of all types. The runway classification number is 42/F/D/X/T. The terminal capacity is up to 100 passengers per hour.

In 2018 and 2019, Kaluga International Airport received the "Kaluga Brand" award in the category "Services and Trade".

On 8 June 2021, Kaluga Airport, for the first time in its history, handled 18 commercial passenger flights in one day. Flights were operated on ten routes, including two international destinations.

Currently, the airport's route network includes 17 destinations: 12 domestic and 5 international. On 29 September 2021, a new route was opened — a direct flight to Egypt.

Since 4 November 2021, regular air service to Minsk has been established.

At the end of September 2021, a 60 m² duty free shop opened in the departure hall of the international terminal.
