About the airport
Begishevo Airport named after N. V. Lemaev is an international airport of federal significance in Tatarstan.
It serves the cities of Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Yelabuga and others. The airport is also popular with residents of Izhevsk, as it is the nearest international airport to the city.
It is located in the Tukaevsky District, 19 km south-east of the centre of Nizhnekamsk and 27 km south-west of the centre of Naberezhnye Chelny.
The owner of the airport is PJSC KAMAZ.
