Rosaviatsia restrictions on 23 October

Overnight and this morning Rosaviatsia imposed temporary flight restrictions at 20 airports. They currently remain in effect at 5 airports:

• Vnukovo since 12:55 (2 h 4 min)
• Kaluga (Grabtsevo) since 12:56 (2 h 3 min)
• Domodedovo since 13:00 (1 h 59 min)
• Sheremetyevo since 14:05 (54 min)
• Zhukovsky since 14:05 (54 min)

Restrictions at 15 airports have already been lifted:

• Penza from 22:00 on 22 October to 06:11 and from 11:02 to 12:05 (9 h 14 min)
• Ulyanovsk (Baratayevka) from 01:38 to 09:47 and from 12:02 to 13:05 (9 h 12 min)
• Saransk from 23:14 on 22 October to 07:08 and from 11:02 to 12:05 (8 h 57 min)
• Perm (Bolshoye Savino) from 06:06 to 14:57 (8 h 51 min)
• Saratov (Gagarin) from 23:00 on 22 October to 06:41 and from 12:02 to 13:05 (8 h 44 min)
• Kazan from 00:39 to 08:47 (8 h 8 min)
• Izhevsk from 04:00 to 12:02 (8 h 2 min)
• Kirov (Pobedilovo) from 03:00 to 11:02 (8 h 2 min)
• Nizhny Novgorod (Strigino) from 03:44 to 11:33 (7 h 49 min)
• Cheboksary from 00:50 to 08:12 (7 h 22 min)
• Bugulma from 01:29 to 08:47 (7 h 17 min)

According to Rosaviatsia, all restrictions were imposed to ensure flight safety. Times are in Moscow time, except where local time is specified for airports in other time zones.

Delays and cancellations on airport flight boards

According to airport flight boards, 1,057 flights are currently delayed at 24 airports, and 78 flights have been cancelled. Most delays are at Sheremetyevo (150), Vnukovo (143) and Pulkovo (135).

Sheremetyevo: 150 delays and 17 cancellations

At Sheremetyevo, 150 flights are delayed (60 departures and 90 arrivals), and 17 flights have been cancelled. Rosaviatsia restrictions were in effect here from 04:54 to 05:04 (10 min), were imposed again at 14:05 and have not been lifted yet.

Departures

Flights to Vladikavkaz, Petrozavodsk, Makhachkala, Shanghai, Astrakhan, Samara and 6 other destinations are also delayed.

Departed late: DP 6937 to Makhachkala (6 h 52 min behind schedule), FV 6373 to Izhevsk (5 h 3 min behind schedule), FV 6075 to Ulyanovsk (5 h 49 min behind schedule) and DP 6965 to Volgograd (5 h 27 min behind schedule).

Pulkovo: 135 delays and 21 cancellations

At Pulkovo, 135 flights are delayed (76 departures and 59 arrivals), and 21 flights have been cancelled.

The DP 593 departure to Saratov has been moved from 07:50 to 18:40, while FV 6583 to Perm is now due to leave at 14:00 instead of 09:00. DP 6828 to Moscow has been pushed back to 21:15 (scheduled 10:05), while DP 565 to Ulyanovsk will depart at 18:15 instead of 13:20. Flights to Kaliningrad, Vladikavkaz, Penza, Salekhard, Apatity, Volgograd and 9 other destinations are also delayed.

Departed late: YC 946 to Novy Urengoy (5 h 50 min behind schedule), FV 6595 to Kazan (4 h 13 min behind schedule), DP 529 to Kaliningrad (5 h 2 min behind schedule) and 5N 509 to Nizhny Novgorod (4 h 3 min behind schedule).

The DP 465 departure to Ulyanovsk has been moved from 07:00 to 17:20, while DP 855 to Gyumri is now due to leave at 16:45 instead of 07:00. DP 979 to Antalya has been pushed back to 16:30 (scheduled 07:00), while DP 963 to Dalaman will depart at 20:35 instead of 11:10. Flights to Antalya, Samarkand, Istanbul, Yerevan, Tbilisi, Saint Petersburg and 6 other destinations are also delayed.
