About the airport
Talakan is an airport serving the Talakan oil and gas condensate field, built by PJSC Surgutneftegas 105 km northwest of the settlement of Vitim in the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic.
It is the first airport in Russia constructed with private investment. The total capital investment amounted to 15 billion rubles upon completion.
On 23 November 2012, a technical flight was received at the airport, operated by UTair airline using a Tu-154M aircraft.
