Rosaviatsia restrictions on 19 September

Overnight and this morning Rosaviatsia imposed temporary flight restrictions at 9 airports. They currently remain in effect at 4 airports:

• Kaluga (Grabtsevo) since 11:50 on 18 September (21 h 9 min)
• Yaroslavl (Tunoshna) since 04:06 (4 h 53 min)
• Ulyanovsk (Baratayevka) since 08:59 (1 h)
• Kazan since 08:07 (52 min)

Restrictions at 5 airports have already been lifted:

• Gelendzhik from 19:26 on 18 September to 05:38 (10 h 12 min)
• Petrozavodsk from 04:26 to 06:33 (2 h 6 min)
• Sochi from 17:23 on 18 September to 19:29 on 18 September (2 h 5 min)
• Cheboksary from 16:42 on 18 September to 18:20 on 18 September (1 h 37 min)
• Makhachkala (Uytash) from 04:56 to 05:59 (1 h 2 min)

Operating under a special regime, with arrivals and departures subject to approval by state authorities: Vnukovo since 02:54, Domodedovo since 02:54.

According to Rosaviatsia, all restrictions were imposed to ensure flight safety. Times are in Moscow time, except where local time is specified for airports in other time zones.

Delays and cancellations on airport flight boards

According to airport flight boards, 593 flights are currently delayed at 24 airports, and 18 flights have been cancelled. Most delays are at Vnukovo (85), Pulkovo (79) and Sochi (56).

Pulkovo: 79 delays and 10 cancellations

At Pulkovo, 79 flights are delayed (51 departures and 28 arrivals), and 10 flights have been cancelled.

Departures

The U6 547 departure to Sochi has been moved from 06:00 to 10:00, while A4 7020 to Moscow is now due to leave at 10:10 instead of 07:30. DP 519 to Astrakhan has been pushed back to 10:40 (scheduled 09:15), while N4 1277 to Sukhumi will depart at 00:05 on 20 September instead of 19:35. Flights to Nizhnekamsk, Mineralnye Vody, Makhachkala, Kaliningrad, Stavropol, Krasnodar and 4 other destinations are also delayed.

Departed late: DP 1569 to Perm (2 h 29 min behind schedule), FZ 8278 to Dubai (2 h 46 min behind schedule), 4S 322 to Hurghada (2 h 4 min behind schedule) and WZ 701 to Tbilisi (1 h 6 min behind schedule).

Cancelled departures: to Tehran (W5 1103), to Kazan (EO 243), to Sukhumi (EO 1277) and to Sochi (EO 454).

Arrivals

The A4 7040 arrival from Tbilisi is now expected at 09:30 instead of 06:05, while DP 550 from Chelyabinsk will land at 09:55 instead of 06:35. FV 6472 from Omsk is delayed until 11:39 (scheduled 07:30), while 5N 574 from Krasnoyarsk is due at 12:00 instead of 07:50. Flights from Perm, Osh, Moscow, Tomsk, Kazan, Antalya and 5 other cities are also delayed.

Landed late: 5N 586 from Krasnodar (1 h 29 min behind schedule), FZ 8277 from Dubai (2 h 2 min behind schedule), DP 536 from Kaliningrad (1 h 27 min behind schedule) and FV 6576 from Sochi (6 h 3 min behind schedule).

Cancelled arrivals: from Krasnodar (SU 2959), from Dushanbe (U6 2880), from Tehran (W5 1104), from Kazan (EO 244), from Sukhumi (EO 1278) and from Sochi (EO 453).

Pulkovo Airport flight status and arrivals and departures

Vnukovo: 85 delays and 4 cancellations

At Vnukovo, 85 flights are delayed (63 departures and 22 arrivals), and 4 flights have been cancelled. Rosaviatsia restrictions were imposed here at 02:54 and have not been lifted yet.

The UT 6315 departure to Bovanenkovo has been moved from 03:05 to 12:00, while UT 743 to Ganja is now due to leave at 09:50 instead of 05:45. A4 7009 to Tbilisi has been pushed back to 11:00 (scheduled 08:40), while FZ 990 to Dubai will depart at 19:20 instead of 16:15. Flights to Gazipasa, Vladikavkaz, Novy Urengoy, Yerevan, Antalya, Istanbul and 7 other destinations are also delayed.

The FV 6603 departure to Yekaterinburg has been moved from 08:40 to 22:00, while FV 6639 to Chelyabinsk is now due to leave at 22:40 instead of 09:15.
