About the airport

Vladivostok International Airport named after V. K. Arsenyev is an international airport named after V. K. Arsenyev, a joint base airfield for the Pacific Fleet naval aviation, Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations aviation, and civil aviation. The airfield is also used by the enterprise JSC "322nd Aircraft Repair Plant," which performs scheduled maintenance on various aviation equipment.

The airport is located west of the village of Knevichi, 2.5 km from the city of Artyom, and 38 km northeast of the city of Vladivostok.

From 1961 to 1993, it was home to the 145th Flight Detachment of the Far Eastern Civil Aviation Directorate. It was also the base airfield of the 25th Twice Red Banner Ranan Naval Missile Aviation Division of the Pacific Fleet Air Force, with the permanent stationing of the 183rd Naval Missile Regiment and division headquarters, as well as the 593rd Military Transport Aviation Regiment of the Pacific Fleet Air Force and the 322nd Aircraft Repair Plant of the Pacific Fleet Air Force.

Currently, the airport holds the status of a federal airport.

It is authorised to receive all types of aircraft without restrictions. The airport has two passenger terminals and two cargo terminals.

Historically, Vladivostok Airport consists of two combined airfields:

West Knevichi airfield — for local and long-haul aircraft. There are two runways with artificial surfaces: one 3500 m long and 60 m wide, pavement strength PCN 52/R/B/X/T, and the second 3500 m long and 60 m wide, pavement strength PCN 54/R/B/X/T. Accepted aircraft: all types without restrictions.
Ozernye Klyuchi airfield — for local aircraft and helicopters. It has two runways with artificial surfaces, each 21 m wide and 1000 m and 600 m long. Currently, regular flights are not operated; the airfield is used by state aviation in the interests of the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
