Airport restrictions on 18 September: which flights are delayed and cancelled

Rosaviatsia restrictions on 18 September

Overnight and this morning Rosaviatsia imposed temporary flight restrictions at 12 airports. They currently remain in effect at 3 airports:

• Cherepovets since 05:54 (3 h 5 min)
• Makhachkala (Uytash) since 06:58 (2 h 1 min)
• Gelendzhik since 07:58 (1 h 1 min)

Restrictions at 9 airports have already been lifted:

• Kaluga (Grabtsevo) from 16:13 on 17 September to 07:20 (15 h 7 min)
• Vnukovo from 19:07 on 17 September to 19:43 on 17 September and from 20:31 on 17 September to 07:20 (11 h 24 min)
• Domodedovo from 21:10 on 17 September to 07:20 (10 h 10 min)
• Yaroslavl (Tunoshna) from 23:41 on 17 September to 08:24 (8 h 42 min)
• Kostroma from 23:44 on 17 September to 08:24 (8 h 39 min)
• Krasnodar (Pashkovsky) from 01:26 to 07:04 (5 h 38 min)
• Nizhny Novgorod (Strigino) from 01:54 to 07:20 (5 h 26 min)
• Sochi from 20:52 on 17 September to 00:35 (3 h 43 min)
• Zhukovsky from 18:48 on 17 September to 19:43 on 17 September (54 min)

According to Rosaviatsia, all restrictions were imposed to ensure flight safety. Times are in Moscow time, except where local time is specified for airports in other time zones.

Delays and cancellations on airport flight boards

According to airport flight boards, 670 flights are currently delayed at 24 airports, and 21 flights have been cancelled. Most delays are at Vnukovo (106), Pulkovo (82) and Sheremetyevo (70).

Vnukovo: 106 delays and 4 cancellations

At Vnukovo, 106 flights are delayed (71 departures and 35 arrivals), and 4 flights have been cancelled. Rosaviatsia restrictions were in effect here from 19:07 to 19:43 (35 min) and from 20:31 to 07:20 (10 h 49 min).

Departures

The UT 809 departure to Samarkand has been moved from 09:40 to 12:20, while DP 963 to Dalaman is now due to leave at 12:10 instead of 10:00. KA 504 to Bishkek has been pushed back to 14:50 (scheduled 12:00), while UT 269 to Sochi will depart at 20:10 instead of 16:10. Flights to Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, Saint Petersburg, Antalya, Ulyanovsk, Gyumri and 3 other destinations are also delayed.

Departed late: UT 355 to Grozny (6 h 55 min behind schedule), FZ 988 to Dubai (2 h 22 min behind schedule), TK 422 to Istanbul (4 h 19 min behind schedule) and NE 605 to Hurghada (3 h 5 min behind schedule).

Cancelled departures: to Tbilisi (A4 7107) and to Ufa (UT 363).

Arrivals

The DP 408 arrival from Yekaterinburg is now expected at 18:30 instead of 05:25, while UT 790 from Fergana will land at 12:40 instead of 08:50. KA 503 from Bishkek is delayed until 13:50 (scheduled 11:00), while UT 810 from Samarkand is due at 22:50 instead of 19:00. Flights from Ulyanovsk, Bodrum, Antalya and Sharm El Sheikh are also delayed.

Landed late: NE 604 from Hurghada (1 h 58 min behind schedule), NE 620 from Hurghada (1 h 52 min behind schedule), DP 434 from Perm (1 h 34 min behind schedule) and DP 414 from Chelyabinsk (1 h 32 min behind schedule).

Pulkovo: 82 delays and 1 cancellation

At Pulkovo, 82 flights are delayed (50 departures and 32 arrivals), and 1 flight has been cancelled.

The EO 3541 departure to Nha Trang has been moved from 05:10 to 02:00 on 19 September, while FV 6563 to Sochi is now due to leave at 11:50 instead of 08:20. N4 243 to Kazan has been pushed back to 15:50 (scheduled 08:55), while FV 6559 to Sochi will depart at 15:50 instead of 12:00. Flights to Vladikavkaz, Nizhnekamsk, Kaliningrad, Makhachkala, Nizhny Novgorod, Sochi and 9 other destinations are also delayed.
